Making Peace with your Child’s Anger
Does your child get angry and lash out?
Do they lash out with hitting, biting, scratching, throwing things or threats?
Directed at you, a sibling or even themselves?
Your child could be young or they might be a teenager. Their anger could be sparked by a game they were playing, or something you said, or any number of other things. Sometimes you can’t figure out what sets it off.
We all want to help our children to express their emotions in adaptive and nonviolent ways.
The problem is that most of us have no experience in how to do this.

Many of us were taught that anger is wrong or bad and we learned to repress our feelings. We ignore or bottle up our own anger until it leaks out as snapping at our child or it builds up until we explode!
Parenting will show you every repressed emotion that you never knew you had.
Instead of meeting your child’s anger with peace and compassion do you get triggered into a big emotional reaction that adds fuel to the fire? Do you find yourself yelling, threatening or punishing?
You can’t teach a child how to express anger in a nonviolent way if you are expressing blame, judgment or your own emotional pain.
To truly help your child you need to model peaceful power and express pure, healthy emotion.
You can learn to meet your angry child in a calm Presence.
I’m offering a new 4 week online course starting on the 19th October.
MAKING PEACE WITH YOUR CHILD’S ANGER
This 4 week live online course will help you meet your child’s anger with peaceful power. We will break the taboo on talking about violence and discuss what happens when your child hits, pushes, swears or expresses anger physically.
This course will give you new perspectives and tools to help both you and your child experience anger in a healthy, nonviolent way. It will help you build a relationship of trust, connection and respect with your child.
In the safe and confidential space offered by this course you will be supported to find your own solutions to family problems.
This course provides a clear, punishment-free approach to dealing with your child’s anger.
What makes this course unique?
I share a practical, down-to-earth approach that draws on my own spiritual journey without the spiritual language or belief systems. I’m not a psychologist or family therapist. I’m simply sharing my own personal experience and the wisdom, clarity and insight I’ve gathered after 21 years of conscious parenting and mentoring.
This course will be limited to a maximum of 12 participants and will include group and personal mentoring.
Calm your fears and build connection.
Children behaving in violent ways is a taboo subject that most parents are too scared to talk about. There’s a lot of shame attached to this topic.
Many people will think your child’s violent behaviour is your fault and label you as a bad parent. They think you should be able to stop your child hitting by taking control and disciplining them.
I know this because I’ve been there. I also know that what they say isn’t true.
I’ve dealt with the anger and violence as well as the shame and the judgements of others.
I’ve got direct experience in the very challenging task of making peace with anger. I’ve come out the other side of this challenge and I’m ready to help others find their way through it too.
I have a gift for creating safe and loving spaces for small groups of fellow parents to explore and learn. As someone who has walked the walk, it is my passion to shine a light for others to follow.
Here’s what people have said about my recent courses.

Healing the toxic inheritance of repressed anger
The main topic that I’ve been thinking about for the last month is the effect of repressed childhood anger on relationships, especially with our children. Many people believe that they were traumatised by an angry parent and they worry about getting angry at their own children. I know many mothers who believe that they have…
